BridgePort Brewing, a staple of craft beer in Oregon for 30 years, is hosting a FUNdraiser to benefit beer blogger and craft beer champion, Angelo De leso.
Angelo is well known in Portland, Ore. and beyond for his love of craft beer and tireless promotion of the industry through his blog, Brewpublic. He’s had a bad run of luck health wise, starting with seizures and resulting in a diagnosis of a brain tumor. The tumor was found to be benign however the diagnosis and treatment has resulted in massive medical bills.
To help with those bills BridgePort Brewpub in the Pearl district of Portland is hosting Drink for De leso on Thursday, November 21st. All of the proceeds from BridgePort’s new IRI, Imperial Red Ale, will go straight to Angelo, along with 20% of food purchases made by customers that mention Angelo that night.
